Jan 9: today we did a lot of work organizing the names we got at Hmong New Years. Then we had a meeting and tried visiting people.
Jan 10: Today I went on exchanges with Elder Hinckley. My
companion and I and the other Hmong Elders had a competition to see who could
find more investigators. The loser has to buy the winner Sonic shakes. We
tied... Bummer... But all of us found people to teach so that was good!
Jan 11: Today we outsmarted a Guard Dog! It was going to eat us
so I distracted it while Elder Israelsen knocked on the door. They didn't
answer but we both came out alive so that was good! We also went to visit some
awesome members. One of them gave us a Rab Hneev which is basically a Hmong
Crossbow. That will look pretty cool on our wall!
Jan 12: Today we were super busy and visited a lot of cool
people. Not anything super that happened but it was a good day!
Jan 13: Today we were able to start teaching some pretty cool
people. Then we had a pizza party. There is a member that owns a little Caesars
so that was pretty awesome!
Jan 14: Church was really good today! A ton of people came
compared to normal because the time changed to start at 12:30 PM instead of
9:00 AM. And it is a New Year so everyone wants to come back to church so that
is good.
Well overall it was a good week! Hope everyone has a good
one!
