Tues - today we had transfers. I will be with Elder Austin until our companions fly into Fresno. Elder Austin is super fun. We took a selfie with some recent converts. We are cool.
Wed - Today we were able to go to the Temple! Whenever
missionaries are companions with missionaries who come straight from the
missionary training center, we get to go to the Temple! It was awesome!
Thurs - Today I met my New Companion! Elder Hinckley! He is super
cool! He is from Cleveland Ohio. The other New Hmong Elder is from Chicago.
Mid-west pride!
Fri - Today Elder Hinckley got adopted into a Hmong Clan. He is a
Vang!
Sat - Today we met a super crazy guy. He said he was God and then
threw $10 at us. We gave him a picture of Jesus Christ. He thanked us and said
if it was a picture of Satan he would poop on it. He told us he had handed out
$5000 but it was okay because Jesus would provide. He also said no one could
knock down Jesus but that he could knock down Satan and he would NEVER get up.
He also tried speaking some Hmong. He claimed to speak 84 languages because he
is God. He also said he has Asperger's because he ate at Burger King too much.
He also told us not to tell anyone he is God because he spent 48 of the last 50
days in a mental institution. As we were walking away he said "I am a
million times more powerful than you! I bet you didn't know that!" I was
like nope and then he said screaming and very angrily "AND I AM A BILLION
TIMES MORE POWERFUL THAN SATAN!!! I AM AN ANGRY GOD!!! And a loving god (with a
smile). He then put $20 on the car and said if someone else needed it more they
would take it. Someone else needed it more. hahaha. Crazy people.
Sun - Today was another awesome day on the mission. Love Sundays!
